Open Coast

The coast wears every kind of weather in this collection: soft mist settling over a sheltered harbour, storm light breaking briefly over green cliffs, a rainbow arcing between sea stacks after rain, ice drifting under a low winter sun. Some mornings gave only minutes before the sky closed over again, others held their calm for hours. What ties these scenes together is the coast itself, always changing, rarely repeating, and never quite finished with the light.

A selection of these images is available as fine art prints.

From a Passing Sky to a Lasting Print

The weather that made these images will never repeat itself exactly, the mist lifts, the storm moves on, the light shifts and is gone. A selection of work from the Open Coast collection is available as archival fine art prints, printed on heavy paper to hold the full range of that light, from soft grey mist to the deep gold of a passing storm. It's a way to keep one of those brief alignments somewhere more permanent than a screen.
